Reminder: Cameras do nothing to stop speeding drivers. But they don't want to allow the police to perform traffic stops anymore either. So they're going to install an electronic limiter on your car after you get a few camera tickets, which literally everyone gets now that they've lowered the speed limits to a brisk walk and installed cameras in predatory zones like highway service roads and off ramps. So soon enough all the law abiding drivers will end up with their cars GPS tracked and electronically limited, which was always the plan. THEN they'll limit how far you can drive, but they're not quite ready to talk about that phase yet. Oh but don't worry, the criminals who drive unregistered vehicles, use fake plates, or just don't care about the law will still have absolute impunity under this system. They'll still be free to drive 110 while weaving through traffic in a cloud of marijuana smoke. Cameras don't work on them, and cops are soon to be banned from making ANY traffic stops at all thanks to a bill being pushed in Albany by Sen. Gounardes, a wholly owned representative of TransAlt lobbyists.
