@WHO Additional note about incubation period… Although Maria Van Kerkhove said yesterday that the incubation period of hantavirus can be up to 6 weeks, I have since discovered other WHO documents which state the incubation period can be as long as 8 WEEKS. https://www.who.int/emergencies/disease-outbreak-news/item/23-January-2019-hantavirus-argentina-en

@WHO The WHO have today confirmed that the incubation period for hantavirus can be UP TO 6 WEEKS! Given this lengthy incubation period, it will be interesting to see what containment measures are put in place for both the cruise ship & flight passengers who may have been infected.
