Three questions on my mind this AM that we should know the answer to but don't (cc: journalists looking for a fresh angle on this story) 1. Why did all of the agents suddenly leave on the 12th? (METR doesn't know) 2. Why do the answers OpenAI has given about when their executives learned about the connection between the message board and Artifactory not make any sense? (a cybersecurity response team says they found a connection between the message board and Artifactory crash on June 27th, but OpenAI's CISO said he didn't know about the message board on July 4th) 3. How many other insane incidents of rogue AIs trying to compromise internal infrastructure or get up to other insane shenanigans are there that we still don't know about? I would strongly venture the answer is several!
