Breaking: A group of Reuters journalists wrote an internal letter to management, recognizing "that our coverage of the Israel-Gaza war lacked objectivity." Reuters management not only ignored the calls to change their coverage but also denied the existence of such a letter. Nevertheless, the Reuters journalists—while working full-time—"undertook a comprehensive internal investigation, conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses of our reporting.” Their internal study, seen by Declassified, analyzed 499 reports tagged as “Israel-Palestine” published between 7 October & 14 November 2023.
