Without getting into the weeds of the technical aspects, I feel like—high level— we should be having more of a discussion about how many of the go-to experts on AI extermination, namely this one cited several times in the NYT, are completely bat shit EA fantasists.

@katewillett Basically yes! Though it would be many machine gods instead of one, and they would represent the interests and values of many diverse peoples and countries. Also, note that we at AIFP at least are also sympathetic to "Plan S," as we discuss in AI 2040: Plan A.
