Hamas’s fascist goons are inciting heavily against the mass demonstrations in Gaza, accusing protesters of treason, "stabbing the resistance" in the back, and being "cowardly" agents of Israel. The terror organization is weak and appears to have been caught by complete surprise, failing to anticipate the protests and not having enough intelligence-gathering capabilities to register the magnitude of what was brewing. Furthermore, Hamas is weakened, exhausted, and unable to deploy the massive security responses it once did during previous demonstrations by Gazans. Still, there is a significant risk that Gazans will face a scenario similar to that of Iraq's Shia population in 1991, whereby a weakened Saddam was allowed to mass slaughter his people who rose against his rule after the Desert Storm campaign. This cannot be allowed to happen in Gaza! The Arab League must make it clear that mass slaughtering of Palestinian protesters seeking political change and demanding an end to the war that Hamas started will not be tolerated and would elicit a serious response, including one entailing the use of force to protect civilians in the Strip. There is no going back; there is no turning back - it's time for an Arab intervention in Gaza to protect the Palestinian people from Hamas.
