I had a chance to visit the Abrahamic Family House, an interfaith complex in Abu Dhabi that houses a mosque, a church, and a synagogue. Inspired by the Document on Human Fraternity and bolstered by the signing of the Abraham Accords, the House is an inspiring representation of the possibility of coexistence & tolerance where it matters the most. Yes, there are immense geopolitical challenges in the Middle East that strain relations between the different faiths. However, what models like the Abrahamic Family House and other examples within Abraham Accord nations demonstrate is that tolerance and acceptance are entirely possible and achievable. The endurance of the Abrahamic Family House through one of the most tumultuous chapters in contemporary Middle East history is a testament to UAE's potential as a contributor to bolstering people-to-people connections between peoples of the different faiths in the Middle East, especially in Israel and Palestine.
