I’m still furious about the despicable attempt to deflect responsibility from Hxmas for executing hostages by spinning it into Israel’s fault because they won’t just pay a ransom that will inevitably put thousands of future families in the same position. Getting hostages home and dismantling the evil group that kidnapped/killed so many are not mutually exclusive tasks. You cannot give up on the former to satisfy the latter, or vice versa. The best chance Israel has to get a deal that will not endanger more lives for years to come is to tighten the noose around Sinwar. I also want to emphasize that the current negotiation should be referred to as a ransom negotiation, not ceasefire talks. These are evil terrorists holding innocent hostages at gunpoint making demands. The facade of mediators from Qatar and Egypt being at a diplomatic table doesn’t change that reality.

Hxmas created a policy where they execute hostages if they think there is a risk of them being rescued. Instead of blaming Hxmas for having such an evil policy for hostages they took, you are so desperate to spin that you blame those who were attempting to rescue the hostages.
