You’re responding to a quoted tweet where I criticized Trump’s performance. You’re confusing acknowledging something bad with making it an explanation for a perceived outcome. The fact is that having moderators who are openly biased (which is not really disputable when you have moderators that exclusively fact-check and make negative comments about one candidate) is bad for the country having nothing to do with the actual outcome. It might feel good for partisans in the short term, but leads to a large portion of Americans distrusting our system and losing faith in a key institution.
