What you will notice tonight/tomorrow is many of the same people who regularly decry the consequences of the current war (including many civilian deaths and destruction of Gaza's infrastructure) will also celebrate the reason for the war. They will find lots of excuses, but in the end, it is simply a justification for starting an unnecessary war and massacring innocent people. The damage 10/7 did to Israel is obvious, but everything that has resulted from it has also been a disaster for Palestinians, Lebanese citizens, and even Tehran's terror proxies themselves. But they don't care because for them one day of massacring Jews and the possibility of more such days was worth all those consequences. Especially combined with the delusion that this will somehow lead to the end of Israel. That's why I don't really believe they care about the civilian collateral deaths. Anyone who does would recognize and be vocal about what a disastrous decision Hamas and Hezbollah have made in waging war on Israel. Instead, they celebrate that decision, encourage more such actions, and only cite those civilian casualties as a pretext for arguing Israel is wrong for fighting back. They have no desire for peace, just one-sided destruction.
