To be honest, I was skeptical (& still possible these reports are wrong) because he was known to travel with hostages as a security measure. I’m curious why he was without them and whether the IDF had been tracking him for a while waiting for the right opportunity.

Reports now circulating in Israeli media that a preliminary dna test has confirmed one of the terrorists killed this morning was Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind of the 10/7 attack and current leader of Hamas. If true, this would be a major victory.
