Meanwhile, the same general assembly ignores what’s actually happening in Syria, including Turkey displacing tens of thousands of Kurds and Assad/Russia bombing random civilians. The UN is a complete circus. We should stop funding the clowns.

Today's reminder that the UN exists on another planet comes in the form of a resolution demanding that Israel hand the Golan Heights over to Syria, a country rapidly being taken over by jihadist rebels. It passed, of course, with 97 in favor, 8 against, and 64 abstentions.
