Those who would take Amnesty seriously despite their long history on this subject won’t care that they changed the definition of genocide just to target Israel, but it’s rather revealing they conceded the point themselves and hid it in their report. Yes, there has never before been an instance where these groups have pretended that war and genocide are the same thing. The entire purpose of the lie is to not have to engage with any complex discussions about the reality of war and instead to create an inversion to suggest Israel is never justified in using force.
