The saying goes that the antisemite accuses the Jew of theft not because they believe he stole something, but because they like watching him empty out his pockets to prove his innocence. My sincere response to this (with no offense meant to the poster) is that we need to stop begging people who repeat obvious lies from terrorists to change. It has been 15 months of this. They aren’t going to. If what we saw on 10/7 didn’t convince them, no amount of facts about what Hamas has done since will do so. Most of the people repeating these things aren’t being tricked, they are promoting these obvious lies because they want to. We can/should point out the truth for people watching but it won’t change the behavior of those spreading the lies because the intent is to normalize their support for evil terrorists. Let’s recognize them for who they are.

You claim the Bibas babies were killed in an Israeli airstrike. You claim Omer Shem Tov chose to kiss his captor. You claim Liri Albag, Naama Levy, Daniella Gilboa, and Karina Ariev were heartbroken to leave Hamas and genuinely thanked them for such a wonderful stay in Gaza. You claim Keith Siegel was deeply moved by the thoughtful gift bags he and his wife received. You claim Hamas took excellent care of the hostages; it’s not their fault they all returned dozens of kilos lighter. You claim Amit Soussana was never sexually assaulted. She made it all up. Eli Sharabi’s murdered family? Just collateral damage, Hamas never meant to hurt civilians. What’s next? That the hostages wanted a Gaza getaway and extended their trip for 16 months? How twisted do you have to be to believe Hamas, the abusers, over the hostages, their victims? BELIEVE THE HOSTAGES.
