So let's talk about foreign government influence in America. Qatar is a country with only 350-400K citizens. Their government has clear ties to anti-American terrorist groups. Yet they have openly spent 6 billion USD since 2007 on U.S. schools and lobbying. They have undoubtedly spent billions more dollars on influence operations under the table. That's far more than any other country. There are criminal cases related to them bribing politicians in Europe and the U.S., including a Democrat U.S. Senator. They control one of the largest media networks in the world via Al Jazeera. So why do people who claim to be concerned about foreign influence never talk about any of this?
