I want to be clear that I think Witkoff has good intentions. He’s trying to get the hostages home and find a way to end the violence. But he (along with much of our political class) has a blind spot re Qatar which makes such a resolution more difficult.

Just absolute nonsense. It's one thing to not want to be confrontational given his role and need to deal with them, it's another to promote an alternate reality. The Qatari government is a Muslim Brotherhood front whose main goal is to destabilize western countries. They've spent billions in the U.S. to that end, incite violence throughout the middle east via their controlled news network, and actively provide cover for the worst terrorists in the world.
