This is not surprising or new. Columbia has been regularly targeting dissenting views for punishment and censorship for a long time. As have several other top universities. The only time they've even considered invoking speech considerations has been to defend the harassment of Jewish students and violent behavior from pro-terror mobs. That's the problem. They don't actually care about free speech. They enforce and even stretch rules to denounce views they don't like while doing everything they can to protect BEHAVIOR (not speech) they would never otherwise tolerate from the pro-terror faction. All because they have filled their faculty and administration with subversive activists who agree with those pro-terror mobs. Then they demand taxpayer funds to help support this crooked and harmful system.
