I remember when Biden and team were warned the large bills would cause inflation. They ignored the warnings, then when prices went up they tried a whole gambit of blaming greedy corporations. Of course no one actually bought the spin. I’m seeing a lot of parallels on the right with denials about the consequences of tariffs. The next step will be attempted spin and finger-pointing when the consequences become reality, but again the spin won’t matter outside a small portion of the base.
