1) Taking out Iran’s nuclear program is not even remotely equivalent to an invasion of Iraq. The conflating of a full war with what would likely be a targeted strike is absurd. It is much closer to Israel taking out Iraq’s nuclear facilities in 1981. Or the raid on Syria. 2) This severely underplays the role Tehran plays destabilizing the region and the role they have played in promoting terrorism/killing Americans. They are already doing most of what they can do in terms of proxy terrorism. They have even been trying to assassinate Trump. The Islamic Republic is not India or Pakistan. It’s the same appeasement logic that was behind Obama’s acceptance of any deal at any price and the Biden admin easing of pressure on Tehran. The way you get an actual war btw is letting Tehran have a nuke because not only would it risk them giving it to terrorists but it would embolden them into advancing into more open conflict in the region. Not just with Israel, but also most of the Sunni states. https://bird.makeup/@joelpollak/1918326421476217203
