I tend to be very cautious about what I react to. Right now there are so many stories being pushed that are clearly meant to be spread for narrative purposes over sharing the truth. In just the last few days, I’ve seen reports that Trump admin plans to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state, plans to allow a deal in Gaza that keeps Hamas in power/armed, is negotiating with Tehran to allow continued to enrichment with sanctions relief, Trump had a fallout with BN, and about a hundred others. You will note I do not comment on those stories because I have no reason to believe them to be true without substantial evidence. Despite some of the reports being alarming. On the Qatar plane, it is consistent with how Qatar tries to influence US politicians so in predisposed to believe such an offer was made. Such a move would be a major mistake and harmful. Qatar has been actively trying to buy influence in the US in a way that is harmful for the country for decades. They will keep trying. It’s important for people to pushback against it. If it’s not true or the admin is rejecting the offer, then they should say so and undercut the reporting. It’s really that simple.
