As a reminder, the Biden administration had already announced it would not extend the program, which gave ~500K migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela two-year work permits, because the program was poorly vetted and had a ton of issues that indicated it was being abused. The Trump administration took the additional step of cancelling the existing parole/permits in March. The lower court judge barred the Trump administration from cancelling them all at once, insisting each case had to be reviewed individually. SCOTUS has sided with the Trump admin that they can cancel all of the paroles at once, then review if they want to give any individual exemptions.
