Apparently that same Rep has been trying to launder the story to various reporters and influencers too. It’s just such a transparent smear campaign at this point that it’s embarrassing they even continue to pursue it.

A reporter sent me this exchange with a conservative influencer about Alex Andrade's efforts to accuse @GovRonDeSantis and @CaseyDeSantis of illegal activity - it looks like the Governor is right that Andrade has been shopping the story around in an attempt to get coverage. Andrade seems to be upset that the Governor succeeded in defeating Amendment 3, a pro-marijuana initiative supported by Andrade and Trulieve. Andrade has now partnered with a Democrat State Attorney in his quest to take down the Governor or people close to him.
