The complete and utter silence over the report this week that Turkish attacks against Kurds in Syria cut off water to a million people definitively proves that very few people actually care about Palestinian civilians anymore than they do the 61,000 killed in Sudan this year or a stranger killed in a car accident. The focus on Gazans has been and is only about the connection to Jews and the hatred & obsession over Israel. If the same exact harm came to Palestinians somewhere else, not related to Israel or Jews, the exact same indifference as seen with Kurds and Sudanese would be observed; no stream of NGO reports, UN meetings, ICJ/ICC cases, endless news coverage, debates, forensic reports analyzing single attacks, protests. None, zip. And everyone knows it.
