What's wrong with Trump's $1B White House reno? Four biggies. 1) He lied that taxpayers wouldn't be on the hook for it. 2) Trump asked Congress to fund it. Congress declined; Trump is doing it anyway. 3) Trump is robbing other pots of money, including for the Secret Service and Nat'l Parks, to do it again, in defiance of Congress 4) Trump is soliciting money from unknown donors for unknown amounts, opening the door to corruption and influence peddling. So, yes, this is much worse than a home reno gone wrong!
