Update: the general consensus is that this is a new Flash model in the GLM family from Z․ai, possibly a smaller variant of the new flagship large model they are still training. Early tests put it generally above Opus 4.8, but opinions differ. I'm assuming it will be open-weight.

The identity of Ox Alpha remains a mystery. It's a long-horizon multimodal model with a 1M context window. Last night the top candidate was a new GLM release. This morning people seem less sure of anything. I'm making a thread for guesses and test results.
