Taipei Mayor Chiang wan-an embroiled in à mini-scandal where his son got selected for a international student exchange program sponsored by…Taipei city govt. That already was a bad look, but then it comes out the boy has American citizenship so Taipei city would be paying for Taipei mayor’s American son to go to America to be an exchange student. Obviously once this came to light Chiang withdrew his son’s participation but ppl are still saying Chiang displayed bad judgement.
