Right to protest? For me but not for thee. “It seems that if you are from Just Stop Oil or protesting about Gaza, you can do what you want. But farmers are treated differently.” So says @JeremyClarkson who is trying to help organise a protest about the Government’s proposed tax policy. Palestine protests have no impact on the Middle East and only ruin the lives of locals who have to bear them. But they still go ahead. Almost every week. Now, when farmers want to protest – once – about a domestic issue, where a protest might actually make a difference, they come up against obstacles. The right of Palestine activists to protest seems to have no limits. Our cities have become no-go zones for Jews, whose rights to live freely in our hometowns have been curtailed. Now the rights of others to protest are apparently being restricted as well. What starts with the Jews does not end with the Jews. Protests can be restricted. Protests can be banned. But not these protests, apparently. The right to protest? For me but not for thee. https://t.co/XhSboRscNE
