Campaign Against Antisemitism
“Zionists out.” Yesterday, protesters gathered outside the British Museum in London, calling for the removal of ‘Zionists’. Eight in ten British Jews consider themselves to be Zionists; only 6% do not. These intimidatory tactics are now frequent occurrences in our city centres and have real-life effects on British Jews. The answer to this problem cannot be indifference. While extremists take over our streets, those in charge continue to look the other way, just as they have done for the past nineteen months. It seems that the alarm bells are deafening to everyone besides the authorities.
