There is nothing more awe-inspiring than watching the original footage of IDF soldiers standing in awe on the Temple Mount in 1967—our warriors, having just liberated Jerusalem from the grip of those who denied Jews access to our holiest site for centuries. Then, for nineteen long years, from 1948 until that miraculous moment in 1967, they forbid Jews from even stepping foot in our ancient Old City. And for centuries before that, the Muslim world treated the Temple Mount as an exclusive Islamic site, erasing our history and suppressing our heritage. But in that moment—when Jewish boots stood on the Mount, when the shofar echoed across the stones—we were finally home. And then... our leaders gave it away. Instead of acting like a sovereign nation reclaiming its heart, they handed the keys of the Temple Mount back to the Islamic Waqf, betraying the very victory Hashem had delivered into our hands. That cowardly decision sent a message to the Muslim world: the Jews are back, but they're still afraid of their own faith. And from that moment on, the Muslim war against us continues as they view as us outsiders. To this day, Jews are discriminated against on our own holiest site. We are watched, silenced, and often banned from praying where our ancestors once stood in the Holy Temple—all because our leadership failed to embrace Jewish sovereignty with pride and courage. This mistake must not be forgotten, because it continues to cost us our dignity, our security, and our future. Today, a proud and fearless generation is rising—determined to fix the historic mistake of 1967 by restoring Jewish sovereignty, dignity, and creating the awareness to want to rebuild our Tenple, and in the meantime push for freedom of worship on the Temple Mount, our holiest site.
