Whatever political calculus produced this bad statement is going to backfire. More than 80% of all Americans believe denying Israel’s right to exist is antisemitic. And that’s exactly what the mobs in city streets and on college campuses stand for. @Tim_Walz: walk this back.

I’ve been careful not to wade into the presidential election, but this statement by @Tim_Walz is deeply troubling. Anti-Israel protesters are “speaking out” because they don’t want Israel to exist. They say so very openly. The @KamalaHarris campaign should clarify this now.
