The returning hostages have confirmed our greatest fears – that hostages are being brutally tortured, starved, and sexually abused. We watched Ohad, Or, and Eli emerge from Gaza as if they had emerged from a concentration camp in 1945. Hamas understands our grief, pain, and desperation to save the remaining hostages and are now seeking to extort even more from Israel. They already got thousands of tons of humanitarian aid, they got hundreds of prisoners released, they got Israel to withdraw from the Netzarim Corridor so Gazans could return to the northern Strip. And it’s not enough. They want more – and they don’t care what it will cost Israelis or Palestinians.
