Things that don't sound realistic in this plan: ➡️ Rebuilding Gaza in just 5 years ➡️ Keeping Hamas out of the administration or security of Gaza ➡️ Pretending "former" Palestinian Authority officers aren't problematic So, basically all of it.

Egypt has proposed a plan to reconstruct the Gaza Strip without relocating its residents to other countries. The plan involves temporarily moving Gazans to areas within the strip while Egyptian and foreign firms rebuild the region over 5 years. The initiative includes forming a new "Palestinian administration" independent of Hamas and the Palestinian Authority to oversee reconstruction. A police force, primarily composed of former Palestinian Authority officers, would maintain security with additional support from Egyptian- and Western-trained forces.
