A new IDF report finds that on October 7, one of the locations Hamas attacked was the Erez Crossing between Israel and Gaza. The site was not so much a strategic Israeli assets as it was a critical economic lifeline for Palestinians in Gaza. Before the attack, around 18,000 Gazans used the Crossing to enter Israel and earn a decent living. October 7 put an end to that. Add this to the mountain of evidence that Hamas has no interest in the wellbeing of the Palestinian people.
