I can only presume @NickKristof intends this post to be read by Hamas. Because it is Hamas that is holding hostages and thereby prolonging the war. And it is Hamas that stole aid meant for Gazans and is now hoarding it in underground tunnels. Maybe next time, just tag them directly, Nick.

Israel's blockade of Gaza, denying food to civilians there, isn't getting enough attention. @unicefchief Catherine Russell reports that 9,000 Gaza children have been admitted for acute malnutrition. Hostage taking is wrong, and so is the starvation of children.
