The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) says it launched its operations in Gaza today, delivering truckloads of food to newly established distribution hubs, where aid was handed out to Palestinian civilians. GHF was established earlier this year to create a new humanitarian aid system for Gaza—one designed to bypass Hamas and ensure relief reaches civilians. The volume of assistance is expected to grow steadily in the coming days. In a surprise to nobody, Hamas has made death threats at aid groups partnering with GHF.
