The parents of 15-year-old American citizen Malki Roth who was killed in the 2001 Sbarro Pizzeria bombing in Jerusalem, met with @USAmbIsrael Huckabee last month to urge the extradition of Hamas terrorist Ahlam Tamimi from Jordan. Malki's parents presented a petition with 30,000 signatures, advocating for U.S. pressure on Jordan to extradite Tamimi, who was convicted in an Israeli court for orchestrating the attack that killed 16 people, including seven children and a pregnant woman, and injured 130 others. Tamimi was released in a 2011 prisoner exchange and has since lived openly in Jordan, where she has publicly glorified the bombing. The Roths called on U.S. officials to uphold their responsibility to American victims of terrorism abroad. The petition was also submitted to President Donald Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, urging them to ensure Jordan honors its 1995 extradition treaty with the U.S., which Jordan's high court previously claimed was not ratified.
