In a surprise to nobody, Iran isn't interested in deals that contain it's malign ambitions. Per the Wall Street Journal, Tehran has placed large orders with China for materials used in ballistic missile production - even as it continues nuclear talks with the U.S. One key purchase is ammonium perchlorate, a critical ingredient for solid-fuel missiles. The quantity ordered could fuel the production of up to 800 missiles, some likely destined for proxy groups like the Houthis in Yemen. The shipment is expected to arrive in Iran in the coming months.
