I’m not concerned, but I find it somewhat perplexing that updated COVID vaccine approval from @FDA is now running later than it has for the past 2 years. And it’s hard for me to imagine an FDA more dysfunctional than the one Makary and Prasad were running last year. In 2024, approval was granted on August 22nd for mRNA and August 30th for Nuvaxovid. In 2025, approval was granted on August 27th for all manufacturers.
