Re: Novavax/Nuvaxovid rollout, we’ve been doing this same thing for the past few years now, I really hate how this is still a thing. As a reminder, Sanofi’s official statement last Thursday was that Nuvaxovid would start to become available in days, which is also likely some point this week, roughly same timeline as mRNA. However, people insist on pestering their local pharmacies, when THEY DON’T HAVE ACCESS TO THE SHIPPING INFORMATION, and taking their word at face value. They either make up some completely fabricated estimate, or tell you that they have no idea when they’ll be receiving Nuvaxovid. Employees who choose the 2nd option usually still leave out the context that they would still have the same non-answer even if it was arriving tomorrow. Employees will say “we have no idea!”, people rush out to get ineffective mRNA, and then Nuvaxovid shows up at the pharmacy 2 days later and they’re kicking themselves for the next 2 months. Literally the same exact pattern for the past 3 years.
