A previously healthy 14-year-old boy was given amoxicillin for suspected middle ear infection. He later developed MIS-C, a rare but serious inflammatory condition linked to COVID-19. MIS-C can follow an asymptomatic COVID infection, usually appearing 2–6 weeks after infection.
