NEW: The NYPD will assign 10,000 officers to tomorrow’s Knicks parade in Lower Manhattan, more than any other planned event, according to the department. They say New Yorkers can expect additional security measures— “assets you see and assets you don’t see.” There will also be heavy weapons teams, K9s, explosive detection, transportation, transit, and highway units present.
