He was one of the worst war criminals. He showed zero remorse for the immense crimes he did. Moreover, as every young person raised in Communist Yugoslavia, he must have known of German crimes committed during the war: killing thousands of villagers for nothing. And then 40 years later he did exactly the same thing as the Nazis.

Former Bosnian Serb military chief Ratko Mladic has died aged 84. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) convicted Mladic in 2017 for his role in Europe's worst atrocities since the end of World War II. A United Nations court at The Hague rejected an appeal by Mladic in June 2021, confirming his life prison sentence. @RSE_Balkan
