Marriage Protip: something that was very eye-opening for me was learning the most successful marriages never really solve their problems. Right now it’s 9:21 am. I’ve biked 10 miles and done an hour of yoga. Frank is still asleep because he stayed up all night on his phone. I want to go run errands and can’t. This used to drive me crazy. But it’s also never gonna change. And stuff that he doesn’t like about me is also never gonna change, like leaving coffee cups all over the house. At some point, you have to accept your partner’s faults, rather than thinking you can change them. In my experience, a shocking level of marriage stuff is just normal roommate conflict.
