I honestly don’t know how to be helpful in this moment. Everything I did this cycle was behind the scenes with fundraising, and I dominated. But what is the point of raising money to spread a flawed message? I know I’m right that the Democratic Party is broken and needs a more honest, relatable message. I am certain that trans people need much better leaders. But where am I most helpful? Is it being a media figure? Should I run for office again? Should I just shut the hell up about politics and go back to tech? I literally don’t know how to serve my country in this moment.
