It’s the extremism. When Gender Ideology hands forms to parents asking if their 8-year-old identifies as “transmasc?” It doesn’t come off as teaching tolerance. It comes off as recruitment. All it does is poison the public against actual transsexuals who medically transition.

One of the theories about why Democrats have lost support and why the bathroom bills have the support today that they lacked in 2016 is that there is a backlash against the trans activist movement for being inflexible about trans kids in sports and kid medical transitioning.
