My personal experience is that the public figures everyone hates are actually the nicest people in real life. And the ones everyone loves are because it’s such a carefully constructed façade. They are weird, neurotic and controlling in private.

@BriannaWu @tedcruz Brianna, any public figure most of us like or don't like is probably based not on who they actually are, but who the press tells us they are. Here's hoping we return to the day when we really couldn't tell whose "side" the news was on.
