I should probably be smart enough to keep my mouth shut about the Destiny and Pxie lawsuit, but here goes. I care about both of them. Pxie is a good friend and someone I’ve worked with on several projects. She’s seriously talented, fun to work with, and complements my skills in a way that makes collaborations really rewarding. Before this all came up, I had planned to hire her for an upcoming project, and I’m sticking with that decision. For the record, following through on this hire isn’t me taking sides. I’ve made that clear to both her and people close to Steven. They both deserve their day in court, and I’m not here to weigh in on what’s ultimately between them. I have offered no opinion on this action privately, and made it clear I cannot. I just want to be honest about where I’m coming from. Adulting can be awkward like this. I do hope people let the legal process play out instead of turning this into content or drama. It’s a serious situation for both of them, and they both deserve better than the avalanche of shitty clickbait sure to come.
