I am really blessed to have the life and opportunities I do. ✅ I woke up today in a house I own with a husband I never thought I would have. ✅ I did a bunch of high profile media about causes I care about. ✅ I got to backchannel a difficult problem with my high level connections because the best people in the world are good friends ✅ I led a meeting for a working group of famous Democratic operatives trying to plot a less stupid direction for the party ✅ And I just got a phone call from a fairly famous person who sees all the transphobia on Twitter to say she’s proud to know me and stand by me This stuff all blurs together. But when you look at the big picture, it’s something to be fortunate to experience. 💕 It’s a good life if you don’t weaken.
