I am not mentally ill. I was. I had a medical issue, I went to a therapist. I engaged in medical treatment proven to work. I paid for myself, and life got better than I even imagined. I do not fit any criteria for mental illness today, except for being a Twitter user. Trans women have the right to deal with mental health issues privately. Forcing us to disclose this on our government identification with policy written by people that want to discriminate against us and push us out of public life is blatantly unconstitutional.
