If we’re going to say transgender healthcare is actually healthcare, CLINICIANS SHOULD ACTUALLY DIAGNOSE THAT. No one is out here self-IDing cancer and getting chemotherapy. If I told any normal person that medical treatment I consider life-saving SHOULD NOT be diagnosed by a physician and we should self ID into it, and insurance should pay for it with no questions? They would think I was crazy. Because it’s a crazy position to hold! The idea that gender-affirming care should be all gas and no brakes because some trans person somewhere might be gate kept out of it? DEEPLY UNSERIOUS. But this is literally the policy that trans activists have designed!

@BriannaWu Not everyone is like you. You’re going to hurt some people with this policy. Also…if half as much scrutiny went into deciding on forced genital surgeries on intersex children, we’d all be better off.
